Hello, I’m Norah Greatrix. I’m dedicated to helping individuals discover the power within their body for self-healing and self-realization.

Trained across modalities that nurture embodied wholeness and nervous system well-being, my work is inclusive, affirming, and held with care.

I’m committed to sharing the transformative nature of somatic healing and to supporting a return to the body’s innate wisdom and birthright to feel safe, at home, and fully alive within.

As a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner, educator, and embodiment guide, I support people of all ages in listening to the language of their body. I trust in the alchemy of breath, sound, and movement as pathways to living.

Professional Background:

Norah is a Somatic Experiencing® Practitioner (SEP) trained in the work of Peter Levine. Her journey in this field has led her to serve as a teaching assistant for Somatic Experiencing International® and mentor SE students undergoing the SE® training program. She offers accreditation as a session provider and is passionate about both extending this transformative work into her community and empowering practitioners.

Training and Certification:

Norah is a Yoga Therapist with the International Association of Yoga therapists (C-IAYT), and certified as a Sound Therapist with the Institute of Traditional Medicine. She is currently on the teachers track with the Continuum Teachers Association (CTA) and integrates this work into her practice. In addition, she is certified in Craniosacral Therapy by the Upledger Institute as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) and holds a certification in Acupuncture from the International Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Yoga & Body-Mind Practices:

Norah's yoga foundations are rooted in Ashtanga and Satyananda Yoga. She has studied directly under Saraswati Jois and Shri BNS Iyengar in Mysore, India, and worked as a yoga therapist in Yoga Vidya Gurukul, a yoga therapy hospital in India with Gabriella Dall'Acqua Gyananjan, a Sanyasin with the Bihar School of Yoga, who has been a guiding influence since 2013.

Devoted to carrying forward the teachings of Emilie Conrad, the founder of Continuum Movement®, Norah is fully immersed in this transformative work.

Women’s Holistic Care Focus:

Since 2010, Norah has had the honor of supporting women as a yoga therapist through prenatal yoga. Her work extends to Women-Centered Holistic Care, where she focuses on nurturing presence through self-care, birthing preparation, postpartum wellness, and the healing of labor and delivery traumas. She is dedicated to helping women foster a deep connection with the earth, their body, and their voice.

BodyMind School of Yoga Therapy:

BodyMind School is a member school with the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT), created to support the integration of somatic education.

Collaborations and Research:

In 2021, Norah collaborated with the DreamLab team and Dr. Ron Shore, health scientist at Queen’s University, to develop trauma-informed protocols for psychedelic retreats and therapeutic practice. She partnered with Dimensions Healing to provide education, training, and practices for safe, informed plant medicine use.

With deep gratitude and respect for the healing power of sacred plant medicines, Norah has spent over a decade working within the vegetalismo tradition, honoring the timeless importance of ritual, preparation, and integration in her practice.

Workshops and Teaching:

Norah is passionate about providing immersive workshops and teachings, focused on nurturing somatic awareness. Drawing from her practice of Continuum, she designs dynamic sessions for small groups and larger programs, fostering deep exploration and growth.

Community and Somatic Movement Rituals:

Norah facilitates Somatic Movement Rituals to support somatic awareness through the joy of ceremony in community.
